Denise is one of Devon's oldest and closest friends and is one of the only people that he knew before his career as Kid Colt (and later Blaque Stallion) began. Throughout the years she has been one of the only constants (besides family of course) in his life. Devon met Denise way back in middle school when after a playful altercation she called him a "baby killer". Through the course of the next few years they would continue to have run-ins with each other until Devon developed a crush on a mutual friend of theirs and through some quirk they exchanged online information. While that love remained unrequited (like many in Devon's life), Devon and Denise's relationship blossomed into an amazing friendship spanning nearly ten years! And while Devon has not always treated Denise the way she deserved to be treated (Devon has a tendency to forget about her when a new love pops up) he will always value her friendship and her ability to give advice like no other. Currently she resides in Korea teaching rich kids how to speak English.

Jackie is the daughter of North River's first protector, Curtis Powell aka Blaque Stallion I and she became aware of this at a young age. As a result his strong sense of justice was instilled in her and her brother. She became a police officer while he went to law school and became District Attorney of North River City. She was promoted to detective after helping Devon Johnson (the current Blaque Stallion) collar Joe Luciano and Tripwire. She has earned her reputation for being one of the toughest cops on the force for the last five years by working nonstop to bring criminals to justice in North River (partly because of her feeling that she had to prove herself to her father and the guys on the force) and she is someone that Devon has always been able to go to for answers. Unbeknownst to him, Jackie has a huge crush on him which she manages to keep hidden for now.

When Devon was first transferred to the now closed video store on the lower part of North River, he was crazy serious and determined to prove himself and as a result wasn't much fun. Then he met John and Paul (explained in his own entry). John was a shift supervisor at the store and when he and Paul would work they would play ridiculously fun games designed by the two. Devon learned of the games by accident one day coming in at the tail end of a shift and instead of going crazy and stopping them he joined in on the fun. John and Paul were responsible for getting Devon to lighten up again. Since then John has moved on to a more lucrative opportunity and Devon has been transferred to yet another store. They still keep in touch however. John is also one of the few people Devon has entrusted with his secret identity.

Devon's moving out of the house recently has resulted in them not talking as much as they used to but they still talk on occasion whenever Devon needs some advice. Laura is another one of the small number who are aware of Devon's secret identity as the Blaque Stallion.

Marcus Powell is the son of the first Blaque Stallion and the District Attorney of North River City, VA. Learning of his father's former role as protector of North River City at an early age influenced Marcus' decision to help people. So he went to law school and became District Attorney of North River simply because he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. Unfortunately Marcus did not inherit the speed powers from his father and as a result is a normal man, albeit a normal man in impeccable physical condition. Although he is jealous of the Stallions and their gifts he has helped them on many a case involving numerous crime figures and has helped put away on many occasions. Marcus' relationship with the Stallions has made him popular in the polls but a target for many a criminal.

Devon met Paul right before he met Sean when he was working at the now closed video store in the lower side of North River. Devon hit it off pretty well with the wigger with a heart of gold as they had similar interests and sense of humor. Paul also helped Devon to not be so damn serious. When Devon was first promoted and transferred from his old store to this new one he was eager to prove himself. So he was always dead serious and trying his best and after a while he had forgotten how to have fun. That is until he met Paul and another coworker named John. The two had invented a series of "games" such as clip ball, shank toss and other crazy games that they played when the store was slow (which was quite frequent) and Devon was eager to get in on the fun. Eventually Paul was let go from the company and Devon was transferred to yet another store, but the fun still lives as Paul works at the Video Gaming Store in the same shopping center that Devon works in. Paul is also one of the few people he has entrusted with the knowledge that he is Blaque Stallion.

Ron Jackson met Rebecca at CU_Boulder when he was a senior there and she was still a freshmen. Ron and Becca worked together on a variety of projects as she was a student in most of his advanced science classes. A feat that impressed Ron tremendously. Sure he had done the same thing when he was a freshmen but he had met few others that had managed to do the same thing and none as beautiful as Becca. Ron and Rebecca started dating shortly before he went off to work at Omega Corp. While they had a lot in common they both decided they were better off as friends and they broke off their relationship but still kept in touch over the years. Ron even got her the job at Omega Corp in Boulder before he was fired and he moved to North River. Of course when he was fired and he moved Rebecca also decided to transfer to the North River City Branch of Omega Corp to be closer to her best friend.
Rebecca was the very first person to know about the fantastic powers that Ron had recieved after the accident at Omega Corp and supplied a lot of the materials that Ron used to build his underground base under his home. Rebecca was also particularly helpful whenever Ron needed help on a particular case. Rebecca even helped to make the alterations to the Blaque Stallion uniform turning it into the Kid Colt uniform for Devon.
When Ron supposedly died during the Rikti Invasion Becca and Devon were both heartbroken. Although Becca was a few years older than Devon their grief led them into each others arms for a brief time until they both decided it wasn't the right thing to do and broke it off. Rebecca did help him redesign the Blaque Stallion uniform to fit his own individual style and also helped him get over the hurdles he experienced when he was first thrust into the role of Blaque Stallion.
Rebecca began to design new weapons and gear whenever Devon needed them in his fight against crime and she is the designer of several of the uniforms in the Uniforms and Gear Gallery. Recently Ron Jackson returned from beyond the grave. While ecstatic the skeptic in Rebecca isn't too sure yet. Only time will tell if she is correct.

Sean was putting the final touches on his first independent film entitled "Walk Alone" and was picking up some extra hours at the store while getting things done. Sean was easily one of the coolest people Devon had met while employed at River Side Video and the two became good friends. Sean is one of the people that Devon trusts with the knowledge of his secret identity and that trust has saved Devon many a time when he has had to go speeding from the store to tackle a baddie on a rampage. After the closing of the River Side Video in the lower side of North River, Sean has begun working at becoming an entertainment lawyer while planning his next super secret independent project.
