About Blaquestallion.com


BlaqueStallion.com is a website dedicated to the character and history of Blaque Stallion. Blaque Stallion was initially a City Of Heroes Character created by yours truly but as you can see he has become so much more.

City of Heroes is an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) that enables one to design a super hero from top to bottom, including super powers, a biography, and their overall appearance. Being a huge comic book fan (my favorite heroes being The Flash, Nova The Human Rocket and Iceman) and having longed for the artistic ability to bring my characters to life, this game is a godsend.  I began playing this game more than 2 years ago and since then have gotten my ex-girlfriend, her younger brother, a coworker and one of my very best friends in on the fun.

Blaque Stallion was influenced mainly by The Flash in super powers and the fact that The Flash follows a legacy. So essentially there are several different people who have worn the cowl (and in a case or two the hat) of Blaque Stallion. The current Blaque Stallion is based on yours truly and the others are based on people who have influenced my life. I have also begun the very long but fun process of filling in the backstories of the various Blaque Stallions and creating other heroes and villains for him to interact with. Of course this website is a work in progress and that coupled with the fact that this is my very first web project begs me to ask you not to judge it too harshly.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to this website and enjoy learning about Blaque Stallion, his allies and his enemies. By the way for those who are wondering (and I know there are a few) "Blaque" is spelled that way for two reasons. First reason is that "Black" was taken.:) Second reason is I think "Blaque" is a lot more stylistic than "Black" and has a certain flare to it. I've been trying to think of a way to explain why his name is "Blaque" instead of "Black" canonically (story wise) and I sort of have one. My Co-worker Don Ziegler (an aspiring Muscial Artist) saw the Blaque Stallion in action and was inspired! Seeing the Blaque Stallion zipping up and down the streets of North River City gave him the idea to write a brilliant song about our intrepid hero.

Kyle Robinson's Custom Blaque Stallion

The Second Addition to the Blaque Stallion memorabilia collection is very sharp custom action figure put together by fantastic customizer, Kyle Robinson. I emailed Kyle about a month ago with my idea for another Blaque Stallion action figure. I had seen his previous work on his website and was quite impressed with the amount of detail he put into his creations. Personally I believe Blaque Stallion is his best one yet. But of course I'm a little bit partial. In any case thank you Kyle for giving me another great collectible to add to my Blaque Stallion Museum.

Recipe: Base was a DC Direct Black Lightning Action Figure (who might I add jacked my goggles).
